BIOGRAPHY
Jacqueline Ballarin is a GRAMMY-nominated music educator, Master technician and seasoned vocal artist whose career spans more than two decades of performance, teaching, and artistic leadership. A disciplined, dedicated, and deeply creative musician, she has built a reputation as a genre-defying, multifaceted Master Artist and Teacher.
Guided by an entrepreneurial spirit, Jacqueline has crafted a vibrant career— self-producing major artistic projects, performing on renowned stages, and shaping the next generation of musicians through her dynamic educational work.
Artistry & Performance
Jacqueline is a genre-defying performer whose career spans opera, concert, cabaret, and crossover performance. Trained by some of the world’s most respected teachers, coaches, and conductors, she has appeared throughout the United States and internationally in leading lyric and spinto roles, including Adriana Lecouvreur, Tosca, Aida, Mimì/Musetta (La Bohème), Donna Anna and Donna Elvira (Don Giovanni), Elisabetta (Don Carlo), and Madama Butterfly.
Her performances range from intimate venues to audiences exceeding 25,000. Notable stages include Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts (Bruno Walter Auditorium), Madison Square Garden, The Mann Music Center, and New York City’s longest-standing cabaret theater, The Duplex. She has been featured with organizations such as The Sergio Franchi Music Foundation and The Mario Lanza Society of New York, and has appeared in festivals including Utah Festival Opera, Hamptons Opera, and Musikfest.
Education & Training
Jacqueline holds a Master of Music in Voice Performance from the Boyer College of Music and Dance at Temple University, earned on a full scholarship, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Voice Performance from the same institution. Her studies also include advanced international training at Temple University’s Rome Campus, enriching her linguistic fluency and stylistic depth.
Teaching & Mentorship
A respected educator and mentor, Jacqueline’s professional path has evolved from teaching artist to college faculty member and ultimately to the founding of her own private music studio. Her teaching philosophy balances rigorous technical foundation with artistic individuality, career strategy, and personal expression.
In 2026 she is honored as a GRAMMY® Music Educator Award Nominee by The Recording Academy and GRAMMY Museum. She continues to expand her educational impact through her Master Class Intensive Series throughout Pennsylvania, working in collaboration with many experts in their fields, such as acclaimed sound engineer and musician Jim McGee of SpectraSound.
Leadership & Recognition
Jacqueline is the recipient of Boyer College and Opera Theater Grants and Scholarships for the Arts from The Sergio Franchi Music Foundation. In Fall 2025, she served on the esteemed panel of judges for the Inaugural Lehigh Valley Sing-Off, further affirming her role as a leader within the artistic community.
